We call this single clever milkweed plant or butterfly bush 'our eco tree'.
It has its own little eco system going on its branches. The children enjoy watching the insects and bugs who live there.
So far we have seen;
- lady bugs
- aphids
- brown praying mantis
- green praying mantis
- ants
- monarch caterpillars emerging from their eggs and getting fatter each day from eating the leaves.
